What are my event options? We base all of our event options on group size, usually for 20+ guests. We're generally able to reserve either some duckpin bowling lanes or a 'home base' area for most groups during regular operating hours, and we are always happy to host semi-private events, full private buyouts, and early opens! Fees and minimums vary. Sorry, no Friday or Saturday nights.
How do you reserve space for events? Do you have a private room I can book? Most of our events reserve space in the venue while guests of the public are still welcome to move around your reserved space. You area will be indicated by reservation blocks – you can choose what event name you'd like to be listed! Our guests are always very respectful of this system. We are not able to rope off or stanchion reserved areas. Some locations have semi-private areas, ask us for more information!
How busy it is, do I need to make an event reservation for my group? All of our Pins locations are in huge, open, warehouse venues so we can truly accommodate groups of any size at any time! Even when we book events we always make sure to keep some lanes, games, tables, and plenty of space available for walk-in groups. If you have a larger party it will likely be easier for you (and us!) if you schedule an event, but if you don't have an event don't let that stop you from coming in!
Is there a minimum/maximum for event reservations? Our event reservations generally require a minimum booking time of two hours and a maximum of three hours.
What’s the space like? Our space is seriously awesome! We have so many old school games to play – duckpin bowling, ping pong, bocce ball, giant jenga, patio pong, and a whole slew of pinball machines in addition to the perfect rotation of draft beers, craft cocktails, and super fun mocktails. Depending on which event option you choose, we can offer a mix of seating and standing room, though there may not be enough seating for all guests to be seated at one time, as we encourage and expect our guests to play and socialize. What does my event reservation include? Regardless of which event option you choose, your event reservation Your venue fee includes the designated space and/or games reserved for your group. Beverages, gratuity, food, and any additional games outside of your reserved area are not included.
Can we put up our company branding in our reserved area? Have you been to Pins? It's seriously already beautiful, so you don't have to worry about decorating! We do not permit any kind of decorations or branding, additional furniture, or a/v items including but not limited to tablecloths, balloons, banners, confetti, tables, chairs, projectors, monitors, speakers, microphones, photobooths, etc.
How does the bar work? You can choose to host a bar tab for your group, or your guests can be individually responsible for purchasing their own beverages. If you choose to host a bar tab we'll provide you with snazzy wristbands to indicate that your group is on one tab. You can control your bar tab by total time offered, by specific menu selections offered, by setting a maximum spend limit (before tax + gratuity), or by any combination of these!
What games do you have and what do they cost? Pins Mechanical Co. offers a variety of games that vary by location:
Duckpin bowling for $5 per person, per game, no bowling shoes required. (All locations)
Ping pong for $10 an hour, or $6 for a half hour (All locations)
Bocce ball for $10 an hour, or $6 for a half hour, weather permitting (Dublin & Cincinnati)
Foosball for $.50 per game (All locations)
Pinball for $.50 per game (All locations)
Patio Pong is available for free, weather permitting (Dublin & Columbus only)
Giant Connect 4 is available for free, weather permitting (All locations)
Giant Jenga is available for free, weather permitting (All locations)
Don’t worry, there is an ATM + change machine on-site!
Can we reserve games? If you choose to reserve duckpin bowling lanes, we'll have those reserved for your group and only your group! All other games are generally available on a first come, first served basis. If you book a private event, all games in your reserved area will be included with your event venue fee! **Except pinball and foosball, as they are always $.50 per game and always require quarters to play.

Do you serve food? Select locations have rotating food trucks available on-site as well, ask us for more details! We do not have a kitchen at Pins, but you are welcome to bring/order in whatever food and snacks you’d like - just remember to bring in plates, utensils, and napkins! We cannot permit any outside beverages.
Can I host kids parties? We are first and foremost a bar, so we don't usually host kids parties. However we are all ages every day until 8PM! One adult (over 21) per one to two kids under 21 is required.
